MEDICGO App and Web App
1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the MEDICGO mobile application and the MEDICGO web app at app.medicgomedevac.com (together, “the App”), provided by PT MEDICGO MEDEVAC GROUP (“MEDICGO”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated in the Republic of Indonesia.
By submitting a request, creating an account, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms cover the App. Our website at medicgomedevac.com has its own terms.
If you use the App on behalf of a patient or another person, you confirm that you have the authority to act for them and to accept these Terms on their behalf.
2. Emergency Notice — Read This First
The App is not an emergency service.
If a patient needs immediate medical help, call your local emergency services first. Do not rely on the App, a message, a notification or a submitted form to summon urgent assistance.
The App is for arranging planned and urgent medical transport. It does not dispatch first responders, and it does not replace emergency medical care.
3. Nature of Our Services
MEDICGO is an independent medical evacuation concierge. We manage and coordinate air medical transport end to end as your single point of contact.
MEDICGO does not:
operate aircraft or hold an air operator certificate;
employ, direct or supervise flight crew or medical teams;
provide, direct or supervise medical care or clinical decisions;
carry out the medical assessment or determine fitness to fly;
act as an airline, ambulance operator, hospital or treating healthcare provider.
Aircraft, flight crew and medical teams are provided by an appointed licensed air ambulance operator, which also carries out the medical assessment. Ground transport, hospital admission and treatment are provided by independent licensed providers. Clinical decisions, fitness-to-fly assessments, flight operations and patient treatment remain the responsibility of those providers.
Transport depends on operator availability, clinical assessment, weather, airspace and landing permits, and regulatory requirements.
4. The App Does Not Confirm a Booking
A request, an enquiry or a quotation submitted through the App does not by itself confirm a transfer.
A transfer is confirmed only when a separate written Mission Agreement is signed by the patient or their authorised representative, MEDICGO and the appointed operator, and payment is made in accordance with that agreement.
Where these Terms and a signed Mission Agreement differ, the Mission Agreement applies to that mission.
5. Requests Without an Account
You may submit a transport request through the App without registering first. When you do, an account is created for you from the details you provide, so that we can respond and so that you can follow the request.
These Terms apply to that request and to that account from the moment you submit it.
6. Your Account
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. An account may be used by an authorised adult on behalf of a patient of any age.
You must give accurate registration information and keep it current.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
Tell us immediately at care@medicgomedevac.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
One person, one account. Do not share logins.
7. Your Responsibilities
You must:
provide accurate, complete and timely patient, medical and travel information, and tell us promptly of any change;
obtain any necessary authority or consent before sharing another person’s personal or medical information;
upload only genuine medical and identity documents relating to the patient;
provide travel documents and approvals when requested;
use the App lawfully.
You must not submit false or misleading requests, upload harmful files, attempt to access other users’ information, interfere with or reverse-engineer the App, or use it to send unlawful or abusive content.
Incomplete or inaccurate medical information can affect the fitness-to-fly assessment and the safety of a transfer.
8. Medical Information and Consent
By submitting patient or medical information through the App, you consent to MEDICGO sharing it with the appointed licensed operator, its medical team, healthcare facilities, and where relevant insurers and authorities, including across borders, for the purpose of arranging and delivering the transfer.
How we handle this information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Consent to medical treatment during a mission is given separately, to the operator’s medical team, under their own consent documentation.
9. Fees and Payment
The App does not take payment and does not process card or bank details.
Fees, payment terms, cancellation terms and refunds are set out in the quotation and in the Mission Agreement for each mission, and are arranged separately outside the App.
Any figure shown or discussed in the App is an indication only until it is confirmed in a signed Mission Agreement.
10. Mission Information Shown in the App
The App may show the status of a mission in progress, including an estimated aircraft position on a map.
Any position shown is an estimate calculated from planned departure and arrival times. It is not live aircraft tracking, and it must not be relied on for any operational, travel or clinical decision. Actual timings may change without notice for clinical, weather, airspace or permit reasons.
11. Availability of the App
We aim to keep the App available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The App may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, including network, device, app store or hosting failures.
Because the App may be unavailable, always contact us directly by phone or WhatsApp on +62 857 0087 3333 if a matter is urgent.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features of the App. Where a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice.
12. Limitation of Liability
We will manage requested services with reasonable care. However:
we do not guarantee any medical outcome;
we do not guarantee a particular schedule, aircraft, route or operator availability;
the appointed operator and healthcare providers are responsible for the services they deliver. MEDICGO does not control their clinical or operational decisions and is not responsible for their acts or omissions, except to the extent applicable law imposes responsibility on us;
to the extent permitted by law, MEDICGO is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, or for delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, airspace or permit restrictions, regulatory action, or operator disruption.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability, consumer rights or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Intellectual Property
The MEDICGO name, logo, the App, its content, design, text and graphics are owned by or licensed to PT MEDICGO MEDEVAC GROUP and protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own legitimate service enquiries and missions. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or commercially exploit the App or its content, or attempt to extract its source code, except where the law permits.
Third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their owners.
14. Deleting Your Account, Suspension and Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your Profile screen, or by emailing care@medicgomedevac.com.
Deleting your account removes your login, your notification tokens and your personal contact details. It does not erase mission or medical records, which are retained for medical, safety, regulatory and legal reasons. Deletion is not available while you have an active request or a mission in progress. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, submit false information, misuse the App, or where we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why.
Termination does not affect an ongoing mission governed by a signed Mission Agreement, or any payment already due.
15. Third-Party Services and App Stores
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and runs on Google Firebase. Your use of those platforms is also governed by their own terms.
Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms, have no obligation to provide support for the App, and are not responsible for the App or for any claim relating to it.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, our services or the law. The updated version will be posted here with a new date, and where the law requires it we will notify you or ask you to accept the changes again.
A change to these Terms does not automatically replace the terms of a signed Mission Agreement.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall be submitted to the courts of Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia, without prejudice to any right you may have under applicable consumer protection law to bring proceedings in your own place of residence.
Where a signed Mission Agreement specifies a different governing law or dispute resolution procedure, that agreement applies to matters arising from that mission.
